Powerlift Vacuum Systems

American Vacuum's high volume Powerlift Bulk Material Vacuum Systems come standard with removable storage hoppers with up to 40 Cu.Ft. of storage capacity. Additionally, these units can discharge material into a preferred container up to 16" HG" of a continuous vacuum.  Need to move mountains of material? This bulk cleaning vacuum is the ideal unit, even for conveying over long distances.

All Powerlift Vacuum systems are designed to operate as stand-alone portable units or can be hooked to a central tube system, and available to rent. The Powerlift can come equipped with a diesel engine & trailer or skid mounted making the unit the ideal outdoor vacuum system. American Vacuum offers HEPA upgrades for our Powerlift Vacuum Systems. These systems are also available to collect silica dust and silica sand.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of bulk materials can the Powerlift Vacuum Loader handle, and what is its maximum conveying capacity?

Powerlift Vacuum Loaders feature a heavy-duty Positive Displacement (PD) pump capable of generating up to 16" Hg of continuous vacuum. This heavy-duty suction handles high-volume conveying of dense, heavy, or abrasive materials—including sand, gravel, wood pellets, metal scraps, plastic pellets, and chemical powders—even over long distances. With configurations scaling up to 1,550 CFM and 75 HP, the system can move several tons of material per hour depending on your line length and layout.

Can the collected bulk material be automatically discharged into Supersacs or directly back into our production line?

Yes. Our bulk material vacuum systems come standard with large removable storage hoppers (up to 3 yards) equipped with built-in forklift channels for easy transport and physical dumping. For facilities requiring continuous automation or material collection, the system can be configured with automatic discharge options like counterbalanced flapper valves or rotary airlocks. This lets you drop captured materials continuously into Supersacs, Gaylord bins, or directly back onto a production conveyor line, eliminating manual material handling entirely.

How does the Powerlift system handle ultra-fine or toxic dust like silica without clogging or failing?

Every Powerlift Vacuum Loader utilizes an advanced 2-stage filtration process engineered for harsh manufacturing environments. The first stage uses internal cyclonic separation to drop the heaviest bulk materials out of the airstream before they reach the main filters. The secondary stage features a highly durable primary filter element efficient down to 1 micron. For toxic or hazardous dust like silica, we provide optional inline HEPA filtration upgrades that meet strict OSHA standards by capturing 99.97% of fine particles down to 0.3 microns, ensuring clean, safe exhaust air.
