How do I know if I need a Single-Phase or Three-Phase portable vacuum?

It depends on your run-time requirements. Single-phase units are ideal for intermittent use and can be plugged into standard 120V outlets, making them highly mobile. Three-phase units (like our ARCO series) are designed for continuous, 24/7 operation. If your vacuum needs to run for several hours at a time without the motor overheating, a three-phase system is the industrial standard.

Can these portable vacuums handle combustible dust safely?
