Vacuum Assist Sanding System

Vacuum-assist sanding is a proven way to almost completely eliminate airborne dust that is generated in a sanding or grinding application. The fine particulate dust that is generated via DA sanders in most cases is combustible and/ or dangerous for the human respiratory system. Therefore as much dust as possible must be collected before becoming airborne.

With various OHSA and NFPA rules governing this space, you must select the proper vacuum system to ensure you have the best piece of equipment.

American Vacuum has built hundreds of industrial sanding vacuum systems for customers all around the world and we have a proven track record to back it up.

DA sanders can be tricky with their small diameter hoses, therefore the proper engineering expertise is needed to ensure the system has the right balance of vacuum and flow to keep the dust moving. From a single DA sander to 100 operator DA sander systems, American Vacuum has done it all in the Vacuum Assist Sanding industry.

We have worked with many different types of facilities:

  • Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturers
  • Cabinet Manufacturers
  • Automotive Body Shops
  • Automotive Assembly Plants Paint Lines
  • Boat Manufacturers
  • Fiberglass tank manufacturers
  • Aerospace parts manufacturers
