American Vacuum has been providing the best heavy duty flux recovery machines to the submerged arc welding industry from the very beginning. At the heart of our heavy duty units is our vacuum producer. We incorporate a cast iron positive displacement vacuum pump, which produces the HIGHEST recovery rates of any in the industry. The key word is economy. They save valuable flux, help make better welds and produce all-important savings in man hours. In addition, they are basic to good housekeeping. Finally, the units are capable of seperating out slag (fused flux) and fines (flux flour) returning only clean, reusable flux into the hopper.

Our most popular heavyweight unit. The DMH series comes complete with a overhead separator for mounting above weld hopper. Choose from 4 different size separators. From 125lb to 250lb flux capacities. If you need to mount very high above the weld hopper- no problem, our positive displacement pump can handle the vertical run. Need a recovery unit to recover from multiple welds - no worrires, this is one of our specialties.

The MH Series Vacuums are designed for mounting overhead as a complete unit. Baffle plate on inlet separates re-usable flux from fines. The MH series has a hopper bucket for gravity feed direct to the hopper on the weld head. The MH series is designed for continuous duty operation with a top capacity of 75 pounds per minute.
